Text Box: Our home is located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s wine country. We have enjoyed keeping this property preserved as much as possible in it’s natural setting, where you can experience and feel the calm and quiet peacefulness of this estate. Originally in the early 1800’s this property was the site of a local Sawmill that manufactured the cut timber beams for local homes in the surrounding area. The lake was used as a water retention pond to supply the water to cool the blade of the Sawmill. The mid 1800’s brought a closing to the sawmill and the property then became a country farm home with a operating Dairy Farm. In the early 1940’s the Dairy Farm discontinued it’s operation, and this land was sold as a residential estate with over 200 acres of pristine green farm land. As time passed by, a decision was made September of 1945, to place 200 acres of this property into the “Clean and Green” preservation Society to ensure it’s safe future. Relax and rejuvenate while you take that well deserved nap you have been wanting in our large waterfront hammock. Take a walk around our quiet serene lake, on our soft mossy walking trail under a canopy of trees. Enjoy the sounds of a waterfall as you walk through our historic Covered Bridge... You can enjoy swimming, sailing and fishing on our private crystal clear, spring fed “Stone Lake”. The lake is stocked with speckled trout and bass. If you would like to go fishing in our lake, we can supply fishing gear to licensed individuals. We just ask that you honor our “catch and release” policy. We have boats available for your use on our lake, or you can bring your own kayak or canoe, dock space and our beach is always available...

      Your Hosts Alla and Ron Sheradin are experienced and well traveled throughout the world, while understanding the needs of even the most discriminating guests.  Alla Wilson is a Ph.D. in Management Science at East Stroudsburg University where she is connected with the Hotel and Restaurant management team.  Ron Sheradin has 25 years experience working as a professional Airline Captain, accommodating thousands of people traveling throughout the world.  Ron previously developed two successful operating  Bed and Breakfasts, enjoying  many years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.  Ron and Alla are members of the Pocono Mountain Vacation Bureau and rated in the top ten  for delivering customer satisfaction in accommodations and lodging  in the Northeastern Pennsylvania regional area.
